China, U.S. hold defense policy coordination talks

BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) — Officials from China’s Ministry of National Defense and the U.S. Department of Defense held the 18th China-U.S. Defense Policy Coordination Talks in Beijing from Saturday to Sunday, according to the ministry.
The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange of views on the relations between the Chinese and U.S. militaries, the military-to-military exchanges in the next stage, and issues of common concern, the ministry said. ■
